So last year I put on the modhat and delivered a Holiday Message to D_M. I was thinking about doing it again. The Message would be, basically, a thank-you-for-mostly-not-being-asshats, as well as some memories and a thank-you to my fellow mods. A note about all the changes, and more changes probably coming in the future as LJ changes. A departure due to rabid Christmas tree follows. I wanted to get the OKs to do this first. Last Chrismastime was a time of madness for everyone who wasn't me and was a mod, but this year we've got a solid team and I wanted to check first. | | Wednesday, November 28th, 2007 | | 9:53 pm |

Monthy Mod Post!
And so we come to a New Year. We have some roster changes to go through, so let's get to business. A bit of sad business to start. Due to issues beyond their control, with work and life, we are forced to bid a farewell to aeon_phoenix and troubadorprince. We thank them for their service, and wish them good luck. More happily, we welcome two new moderators to the group. Firstly, we welcome, from Renaissance Florence in Italy, Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli ( _machiavelli). We also welcome, from the mystic depths of the DC Comics universe, the enigmatic Phantom Stranger ( rarely_a_friend). Welcome them in a proper manner. Again, we request you join dmooc, for all your Out Of Character needs. Ladies and Gentlemen, have an excellent year to come. There will be more changes coming, and we'll keep you up to date. | | Tuesday, November 14th, 2006 | | 12:53 pm |
Well. This is embarassing. (Monthly Moderator Post, rather late)
I apologize profusely for the delay in this posting. I had an old friend come back, and he's distracted me for the past two weeks. Thankfully, he and his ridiculous afro are now safely in the Paragon City jail, and I am now catching up. So, without further ado, my butler Norman reminds me of a few things to go over. Firstly, please remember that if you do not wish to bring something up in the dmooc community due to feeling that it is too sensitive, you can reach us at dmmodsquad@gmail.com. We do monitor it and pay attention, I assure you. Secondly, if you are not a member already, we do request you join dmooc - there are things discussed there you may wish information and input into. Thirdly, again, I thank you for being a generally polite and pleasant group of persons - without you, there would be no dear_multiverse, which would result in thousands of questions going unanswered. Fourthly, there are no rule changes this month. Fifthly, I have been asked to inform the populace that, as Thanksgiving is this month, the Dear Multiverse cafeteria will be serving special Thanksgiving-themed meals. However, they will not be having turducken. We're very sorry, but after they tried to capture Daffy Duck, it was determined to be too dangerous to try to make. Thank you for your time. | | Monday, October 2nd, 2006 | | 11:25 am |
[Monthly Mod Post] Boo.
We wish you a happy October. We request you please do not torment the undead; this is the month they get to torment back. Once again, just a few things to go over. Fifthly, if you find an unusual musical instrument or a red-colored materia, please turn it in to the Moderator's Lost And Found. Thank you and operate your vehicle or physical form safely. |
